Reflect

Climate change, the transition to renewable energy and sustainability require a holistic approach going beyond technical or economic issues. These topics are relevant for society as a whole. As a result, Reflect considers social, ethical and cultural aspects of climate and energy research at FAU. Aspects, which are decisive to tackle the challenges when dealing with energy and climate in the long term. Political aspects are also a key factor, for example how social consequences of climate change are faced. Another interesting research topic is how to encourage people to better act in favor of our nature and climate. This reaches out to the society as a whole, ranging from earliest education to dealing with business-related issues such as sustainable corporate management.
