  • Generic modelling of large-scale transmission systems, development and integration of new high-voltage and mid-voltage direct current system components
  • Stability of transmission and distribution networks and microgrids: RMS and EMT calculations, co-simulation, dynamic network reduction
  • Real time digital simulation: new hardware and software in loop developments for energy supply
  • Digitalisation in network system management: Converter management, network management, dynamic security assessment (DSA), expert systems for network operation
  • High-voltage and high-power engineering: Experiments in our high-voltage test bed for researching and developing new materials and components for electrical energy supply
